notebook scribbles, scraps of paper and half remembered memory lapses: basic tracks were scratch ideas recorded on a sony clearvoice TCM-150 cassette recorder with overdubs recorded on various cheap dictaphones, shoebox and lecture cassette recorders with everything eventually dumped onto an 8 track digital for "mixing".
